How to Forward iCloud Email to Gmail?
Basically, you can select from the two methods of how to forward emails from your iCloud email account into Gmail. Check out the steps below:
Method 1 – Make Changes on the iCloud.com
Step 1: On your computer, open your desired browser and go to the iCloud.com page.
Step 2: On the iCloud.com login page, enter your Apple ID and Password to log into your account.
Step 3: Select the Mail icon to open your iCloud Mail.
Step 4: In your iCloud Mail account, click the “Gear” icon a the bottom of the left-hand side panel, below the mailbox list.
Step 5: On your screen, a drop-down menu will appear. Select the “Preferences” option.
Step 6: In the Preferences option, select the “General” tab.
Step 7: In the General tab, select the checkbox adjacent to the “Forward my email to” option.
Step 8: In the Forward my email to option, enter the email address you want to forward the incoming emails. In the provided field, enter your Gmail email address.
Step 9: If you want to remove the forwarded email from your iCloud Mail account, select the checkbox next to the “Delete messages after forwarding” option. If you do not want to lose essential emails, ensure that your Gmail account receives the messages from your iCloud correctly.
Method 2 – Configure Settings in the Gmail Account
Step 1: On your computer, open the desired browser and go to the Gmail sign-in page.
Step 2: On the Gmail sign-in page, enter the Gmail account’s username and password in the provided fields.
Step 3: After logging into the Gmail account, click on the “Gear” icon found on the screen’s top-right corner.
Step 4: On your screen, a drop-down menu will appear, and ensure to select the “Settings” option.
Step 5: In the Settings section, go to the “Accounts and Import” tab located under the “Settings.”
Step 6: In the tab, “Accounts and Import,” look for the option, “Check mail from the other accounts.”
Step 7: In the Check mail from other accounts option, click on the “Add a mail account” option to open the “Add a mail account” window on the screen.
Step 8: In the window, “Add A Mail Account,” enter the iCloud Mail account’s email address and click on the “Next” button.
Step 9: Two options will appear: Link accounts with Gmailify and Import emails from my other account (POP3). Since the Link accounts with Gmailify are grayed out, you can go for the Import emails from other accounts (POP3) instead.
How Do I Forward My iCloud Email to Another Account?
A single account serves as a window to different email communication. Below are the steps on how you can do it:
Step 1: On your computer, open www.icloud.com
Step 2: Enter the Apple ID and password in the provided fields. If two-factor authentication is set up, insert the six-digit code sent on the iOS device.
Step 3: In the iCloud’s Launchpad, click on the “Mail square box” located in the upper row.
Step 4: In the bottom left corner, click on the “Gear” icon. After the actions menu with options appeared, click on the “Preferences” option.
Step 5: Click on the “Forward my email to” option.
Step 6: In the text field, type in the account’s forwarding email address. Then, click the “Done” button.
How Do I Stop Emails Going to iCloud?
If you want to stop emails going to your iCloud, follow the easy steps below:
Step 1: Sign in to your iCloud Mail account.
Step 2: Choose an email from the sender you wish to block.
Step 3: Select the Show Mailboxes (right-arrow) in the upper-left corner if no mailboxes display and you want to view mailboxes.
Step 4: Select the “Gear” icon in the lower-left corner.
Step 5: Select the “Rules” option from the menu that appears.
Step 6: Select the “Add a rule” option in the pop-up box’s upper-right portion.
Step 7: Select the “is from” option from the drop-down menu under the “If a message” option.
Step 8: Enter the email address you wish to block.
Step 9: Select the “Move to Trash” option under the “Then” option.
